Additional Info:
We wanted to do a quick hike with Steph and her friend Emma because a few of us had to be back in the city by 5pm. We thought Ship's Prow would be a quick one but due to the bushwhacking and route-finding, it took us 3.5 hours just to reach the ridge! We were expecting a 4 - 4.5 hour day total. We followed a GPS track up the creek/drainage which worked well but it was slow moving as the terrain wasn't easy to mindlessly hike up. It spit us out under the ridge and we had to scramble up and boulder hop up to the ridge. I definitely recommend the other bushwhack route, it might be a little quicker - and it will be a little easier, I think. We came down that way and the bushes were never too, too thick - there was just no trail.
